Howden Civic Society relies on its supporters for continuing to donate towards the operating costs of storing and displaying its heritage collection. Although grants are available for specific projects, day to day expenses such as rent need to be paid from the funds generated by donations and/or legacies.

As a registered charity (No. 510260) you can name Howden Civic Society and its heritage activities as the beneficiary of a gift. By doing so, you give us the flexibility to be able to use your gift in the most appropriate manner to promote the charitable purposes of the Society. By completing gift aid information you can enable the Society to claim gift aid from the Government on all small donations, larger donations and membership fees. This forms a valuable and significant source of revenue to the Society at no cost to yourselves.
